The life of a young cricketer was cut short early this morning as a result of a vehicular accident.
Dead is 19-year- old National Cricketer, Nick Elibox of Bexon.
It is reported that the fatal accident, that occurred in the north of the island, along the La Retraite road between Rodney Heights and Monchy, also left passengers nursing non-life threatening injuries.
Elibox, a graduate of the Castries Comprehensive Secondary School, was touted as one of the island’s most promising young cricketing talents.
Prior to this incident the number of road fatalities recorded for the year 2018 was at three (3).
Investigations are continuing into this latest tragedy.
