Two ‘Hat Tricks’ In Guardsman U-14

A whooping 26 goals scored and two hat tricks were the highlight this past weekend as the St. Lucia Football Association in collaboration with the Gros Islet Football League kicked off its inaugural Guardsman Northern Zone Under – 14 Championship played at the Grande Riviere Playing Field.

In Game 1, Reduit FC defeated Ciceron Seagulls 4 – 2. The goal scorers for Reduit FC were Luc Cowing, Delvin Nelson, Cameron Cupid and Keyshawn St. Rose; while Vivian d’Auvergne and Alec Hippolyte were the goal scorers for Ciceron Seagulls in their loss.

Next on the square VSADC trounced CT Foundation 5 – 0. The goal scorers were Jake Joseph with three goals, the tournament’s first hat trick and Naveed Joseph with two goals.

The third game featured Big Players and Valley Soccer. Big Players winning 1 – 0.The goal scorer Adrian Vitalis.

In other matchers, B1 Juniors defeated Lancers 10 – 0. There were two goals each for Donavan Phillip, VandellGreenidge and Jahel Francis, while Semian George scored three, the second had trick of the tournament and Kevin Francois 1.

Super J Boboville and Fond Assau played to a 1 – 1 draw. For Super J Boboville the goal scorer was LivonDupre, while Fond AssauYanic Noel scored the much deserve equalizer.

Super J Northern United went down to First Touch/Pioneers 2 – 0. The goal scorer was Kyle Serville.

Matches continue this weekend at the Grande Riviere Playing Field.
