THE Gros Islet and Monchy public libraries are beaming over the success of their recent annual summer programme for children.

The activity was jointly hosted by the two libraries under the theme “Our country, our people, our future: In search of renewable energy and cultural survival”.

The enthusiastic children, age range from three to 11 years were engaged in informative sessions surrounding the theme. Resource persons from the Ministry of Sustainable Development conducted an interactive lecture for participants who also enjoyed field trips to the Agro Processing Plant in Fond Assau and LUCELEC Power Plant in Cul de Sac.

Bryden and Partners in collaboration with Seven Seas donated Tee shirts to the participants. The librarians and staff are again pleased and thankful for Bryden and Partners’ assistance
