BEAUTY was on display at the Samaan’s Park last Sunday. The occasion was the formal launching of the Carnival Season. There was music, colourful costumes and excitement in all forms, as hundreds turned out to witness the spectacle.
Among the attractions was a bevy of local beauties who will be contestants in the various shows. As expected, the Carnival Queen pageant contestants attracted the most attention with the eight ladies getting a photo opportunity with reigning Queen LiciaJn Paul (centre).
