THE Water and Sewage Company Limited (WASCO) is taking a strategic approach to rehabilitating the islandâs water supply.
The company met with stakeholders this week for a second consultation on the John Compton Dam De-silting and Rehabilitation Project. The consultation allowed participants the opportunity to comment on the draft study.
âThe contract for the study has the requirement for consultations to be held. It is a duty to be discharged with the consultants in collaboration with ourselves. So what we are doing here today is really attending to a contractual requirement,â explained WASCOâs Managing Director Vincent Hippolyte, adding that comments on the draft study will help to sharpen the end product.
