THE National Workers Union (NWU) is pleased at and fully supports all efforts currently being undertaken, aimed at the recovery of the tourism sector. This sector which directly employs tens of thousands of workers cannot be taken lightly and must be fully respected. Locally, regionally and internationally, Tourism plays a significant role in national development and for Saint Lucia this is no exception.
The NWU will continue to cooperate and defend that sector considering that the National Workers Union has a sizeable membership within the tourism infrastructure.
The NWU is in touch with most of those in authority and hopes that Saint Lucia’s economic situation will continue to improve.
