CONCACAF NATIONS CUP: Saint Lucia Set to Play DR

SAINT LUCIA Men’s National Senior Team Head Coach Jamaal Shabazz has made some sweeping changes to his squad for their second round encounter against the Dominican Republic in the CONCACAF Nations League Cup scheduled for Saturday October 12th in the Dominican Republic.

Shabazz’s 18-man squad which traveled yesterday to Santo Domingo shows five changes to the one which played in the first round of matches. New additions are 25-five-year-old goalkeeper, Caster James (Monchy FC), 19-year-old forward Raphael Joseph (Monchy FC), 28-year-old midfield player Shayne Paul (Uptown Rebels), 25-year-old midfield player Eden Charles (Monchy FC) and 19-year-old forward Aaron Richard (Dominators FC).

Out are Gregor President, Otev Lawrence, Jervic Mac Farlane, Noah Nicholas and Devone St Prix.

The full squad reads: Vino Barclette and Caster James (Goalkeepers).

Defenders: Melvin Doxilly, Defender, Sherwin Emmanuel, Kurt Frederick, Alvinus Myers, Raphael Joseph and Pernal Williams.

Midfielder: Zaine Pierre (Captain), Lester Joseph, Cassius Joseph, Shayne Paul and Eden Charles.

Forwards: Bradley Nestor, Malik St Prix, Chaim Roserie, Aaron Richard and Antonio Joseph.

The team will be accompanied by the following officials: Cess Podd – SLFA Technical Director, Jamaal Shabazz – Head Coach, Francis Lastic – Assistant Coach, Junior Phillip – Equipment Manager, Sabbatus Hunte – Trainer, Keiber Codrington – Physiopherapist and Denver Samuel – Manager.
