CFC WEEKEND MATCHES: 49 Goals Scored in Youth Tournament

THE SAB Playing Facility was a hub of excitement as the Bank of Saint Lucia and LUCELEC sponsored Castries Football Council (CFC) Youth Football Competition continued its second round of matches on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September 2019.

The highlight of the weekend’s matches saw 49 goals scored including two hat tricks, one each from EmreeProspere and Vernroy Alfred, while Pioneers had a 6-0 win over VSADC and Valley Soccer Academy (VSA) trounced GMC 8-0.

VSA put on a stellar performance when they defeated NYAH FC 3 – 0 in an Under 11 encounter.

They got their goals from the ever consistent Levi Steide, with the others from Aaron Bent and an own goal.

In another encounter in the same division, Pioneers defeated VSADC 6 – 0.

Six matches were played in the Under 13 Division. Valley Soccer Academy behind a spectacular hat trick from EmreeProspere defeated FC Pioneers 5 – 1. Their other goal scorers were Daniel Zakhour and Omarion Edwin.

C. Ferdinand scored for Pioneers.

VSADC Sharks got the better of Big Players 3 – 0. Their goals were scored by Sayvion Rosemond, Ronaldo Serieux and Amani Lesmond.
Playing the second game in this division FC Pioneers edged out VSADC Dolphins 2 – 1, with goals from Doule Bathelmy and Curtrel.

Jenkiaf John scored for VSADC.

Lancers defeated VSADC Dolphins 5 – 0, with a hat trick by Vernroy Alfred and a brace (2) by D’ Andre Preville.

VSADC Sharks and Valley Soccer played to a 1 – 1 draw with Ronaldo Serieux scoring for the Sharks and Daniel Zakhour for Valley Soccer.

Lancers defeated Big Players 4 – 0 with a brace by Deshain Paul, and one each by D’ Andre Preville and Marcus Paul.

Valley Soccer Academy continued their fine form to date, defeating GMC 8 – 0 in the Under 15 Division.

Ethan Louisy scored a brace while there were one each from Klay Dorius, Rawson Harris, Jaheim Prospere, Dario Simancas, EmbreeProspere and JameelLeonce.

In the Under 18 Division FC Pioneers defeated VSADC 5 – 1. They got their goals from Kyle Serville, Kenan St Ormer, Joshua Boland and G Gittens.

Keegan Caul scored for VSADC.

In another match played, New Generation put a damper on Valley Soccer’s weekend edging them out 2 – 1. They got their goals from Yanick Noel and Adjani Toussaint.

Liam Devaux pulled one back for Valley Soccer.
