Underwater Wedding for Saint Lucia Dive Fest

EXCITEMENT is building with the third annual Saint Lucia Dive Festival (DiveFest) gaining momentum globally. The premiere underwater event will get underway from September 8-15, 2019.

In addition to a dive treasure hunt, lionfish derby, photo seminar and competition, themed dinners, street fiestas and island tours, Julie and Sean’s underwater wedding on September 12 will continue to add prominence to Saint Lucia as a romance destination. The underwater wedding will follow with their destination wedding on that day.

Scores of dive enthusiasts of all skill levels are already confirmed to explore the island’s 22 world-class diving sites, as the festival will showcase just why exploring Saint Lucia’s underwater marine life is more than just an adventure.

As an added component, students of the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College with a passion for the undersea will also commence Dive Training Sessions, which will lead to certification upon completion of the course. The Students’ Dive Session will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. at Sandals Halcyon while the highlight of the 2019 Saint Lucia Dive Festival, Julie & Sean’s Underwater Wedding (a first ever in the Caribbean) will get underway on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the Windjammer Landing Dive Shop.
