Saint Lucian Female Footballers Doing Well in the USA

FREE Kick Foundation recruits Chrissy Cox and Samara Edward from Saint Lucia and Mitchlyn Morgan from Dominica all played major roles in Essex College 13 – 1 victory Morris County College.

Chrissy scored a hat trick, along with two assists, while Mitchlyn scored one and assisted two.

Meanwhile, Free Kick Foundation recruit Lyla Lionel of Saint Lucia was named the USCAA Division 1 Player of the week on Tuesday 17th September 2019.

Lyla had stellar performances against two USCAA National Tournament teams. She scored the lone goal in the Bobcats 1 – 0 victory over University Maine Fort Kent. She also scored the first goal in the Bobcats 6 – 2 victory over Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Services.

Lyla is a unique player having enjoyed European experience before coming home, then going to school in the USA.

Back in 2015 she played in Germany prior to making her Under 20 debut for Saint Lucia. She then moved on to Essex Junior College in New Jersey, subsequent to which she took up her current challenge at BSC where she is enjoying her Junior year.

Free Kick Recruit Anton Richard of Saint Lucia played an important role in Florida College, Richard was good between the upright when Florida College defeated Trinity Baptiste College 8-0.
