A cloud of anger, sadness and confusion is over the community of Micoud as one of their own was savagely killed in the early hours of Saturday (31st August) morning.
Thugs armed with guns attempted to rob Clydie’s Bar, a well-known establishment in the area, which resulted in the shooting death of the gentleman who has been hailed as one of the community’s stalwarts.
“Kraffi” was the guy that would be helping customers when the came to purchase drinks, he would be the one to help off load the cases”, an irate resident trying to come to terms with the news informed The Voice.
According to residents, the deadly robbery is the fifth in as little as two weeks. Bandits had already burglarized a gas station, a restaurant, a supermarket and another bar where the left with all but a freezer, before setting their sites on the bar where “Kraffi” met his demise.
“It is time for the government to revisit the Operation Restore Confidence,” one resident tearful said. “That is the only way these young boys will understand because they aren’t afraid of anyone”.
It is still unknown at this time if the thugs made away with anything from this mornings robbery that left one man dead.
