MOTO X: Hot Wheels and Daring Moves in Cul de Sac Tomorrow

The Cul de Sac race track will come alive tomorrow (Sunday 11th August) when the Saint Lucia Moto X Club (SLMXC) stages event No.6 which happens to be the final race for the 2019 season, commencing from 1.30 p.m.

By all indications the five hour event is expected to be a fun filled one, with lots of entertainment and surprises.

According to Chris Jn Marie from SLMXC, all participants in the various categories of races are in victory mood, especially the first place finishers from event No. 5 who must be at the top of their game if they are to maintain their positions.

The same rule applies to the other riders who must give of their best by making better podium finishes to improve on their points standing.

Like previous events, the French will be here to compete, which is always a plus, adding to the already high level of competitiveness among the local riders.

Jn Marie said, “The executive and club members are working feverishly to ensure that tomorrow’s showpiece will live up to everyone’s expectation”.

He continued, “All is in place, there will be beverages, eats, music and a surprise wheeling exhibition during intermission. Come support your favorite team; Team 100, Team Red, Team Purple and Team Prick Them. Be part of the continuing Carnival atmosphere motocross style”.

Moto X fans coming from near and far will see the Pee Wee 1 Class in action with the likes of Yaris Agat on bike No. 93, RajaniMaraj-Malaykhan – bike No.78, Diego Maraj-Stranghn – bike No. 238 and Olson Francois Jr – bike No.8.

Pee Wee 2 Class, leading the pack is Alpha Burt on bike No. 332, followed by Christian Eudoxie – bike No. 110, Kareem Louis – bike No. 3, Rollier Ayton – bike No. 11, Martial Mathew – bike No. 2, Veii Livio – bike No. 7 and Shaan Cooper – bike No. 105.

The action is expected to heat up with Class B, Jah-Mallen Alcindor (288 points) on bike No. 100. Alcindor is 20 points clear of LiskaLouconi – bike No.99, 3rd Darren Auguste – bike No. 777, 4th Antonia Maynard – bike No. 85, 5th Noel Mark – bike No. 144, 6th Travis Emmanuel – bike No. 20, 7th Frederic Labamar – bike No. 6 and 8th Amir Surage – bike No. 88.

Seven riders are set to do battle in Class A. Leading the charge is Julien Augustin on 269 points, 27 points clear of Brian Leonce – bike No.2, 3rd Arrkim Griffith – bike No. 101, 4th Olson Francois Sr – bike No. 10, 5th Kelvin Henry – bike No. 472, 6th Davidson Belizaire – bike No. 18 and 7th Alan Labamar – bike No. 105.
