JUST because a person calls you a moron does not in and of itself, make you one. Everyone has his or her biases and if you do not agree with them, they are quick to call you names and let out the venom against you makes the battle that much more interesting.
We are not ignorant because Rick Wayne says we are. You are not passively aggressive because a person makes that judgement of you. We all have our insecurities and what people perceive to see in you is probably what is lurking within themselves.
Do not throw away your bush medicine just because it is not doctor prescribed. Wisdom was made before books, goes the old adage. When it comes to the Bible a lot of people want to throw away the baby with the bath water; that is those that say that the Bible is a story book.
On the issue of corporal punishment the Bible gives some sage advice. Proverbs 23: 13-14 ‘Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you punish them with the rod, they will not die. Punish them with the rod and save them from death.’
Someone calls you mad. Consider this, many great men and women of history have been labelled thus. If you do not understand the journey that a person is on it is easy to misunderstand them. Some persons care not to be defined. That does not mean they do not understand themselves.
The greatness in you will eventually show itself if to yourself you continue to be true. You are not here to live to anyone’s expectation. You will not be able to live peaceably with everyone. What you can find though is the quiet within yourself and the golden rule still rings true: what you do not want for yourself do not wish it upon others.
I encourage the few out there who are not among the crowd to continue to distinguish yourself as being as you are is not an injustice to you or to others. Keep doing what you are doing as long as your goal is true and noble.
