The seat over the years has usually been a closely contested one, but Felix bucked that trend by winning in a landslide.

“We in Choiseul have a wealth of talent and it is not my intention to play the political card, but to look for the benefit of [all] Choiseulians,” the Commerce Minister said.

Felix, although conceding that such a divide is normal during the course of the General Elections, said that it has no place post-elections and that the constituency should come together so all may benefit from the work being done.

“Come elections, let us fight for who we want to represent us, but after elections let us all come together as a community,” Felix stated.
