NWU, M&C In New Round Of Negotiations

PRESS RELEASE – A new round of negotiations between the Managements of M&C Group of Companies and the National Workers Union (NWU) has begun.

The parties are holding discussions on the Memorandum of Proposals submitted by the NWU on behalf of the Group of Companies’ workers. The talks are at an advanced stage with agreement having been reached on most of the benefits.

The parties have agreed to tackle a new wage structure that is necessary going forward and to allow a new contract to run for a period of three (3) years.

Meanwhile, the NWU and the Management of the St. Lucia Civil Service Cooperative Credit Union will meet shortly to begin negotiations.
