High Calibre Speakers Connect for CARILEC, USAID-CARCEP Smart-Grid Symposium

PRESS RELEASE – SMART-GRID technologies is currently creating a buzz throughout the Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corporation (CARILEC) member utilities in the Caribbean. As governments and utilities embrace Smart-Grid, the question is: How do we make Smart-Grid a top priority?

Join us from October 23 to 26 at the 3rd Annual Smart-Grid Technologies Symposium in Trinidad, where industry leaders will meet to discuss Smart Home, Smart City, Electric Vehicles, IT Strategic Planning, AMI, CMS, SCADA and a special deep-dive into GIS. An additional FREE two-day Post Symposium Training is planned for October 25 and 26 on Cyber Security and Energy Storage & Distributed Generation. Symposium keynote speaker, Pramod Jain, is a leading expert in Wind Power, Energy Storage and Internet of Things. He is a consultant to private developers, the Asian Development Bank, USAID, US Department of Energy, United Nations Development Program, Inter-American Development Bank, and others.

Pramod has provided consulting in the USA, Bangladesh, Brazil, Guyana, Jamaica, Mexico, Mongolia, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and St. Kitts, Vietnam. He is the author of a book, “Wind Energy Engineering” (McGraw-Hill, NY, published in April 2016). He holds a B. Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley.

Pramod will deliver a speech that will move you into action. This will be followed by his special book signing for “Wind Energy Engineering”, second edition; indeed a special opportunity to get your signed copy.
