THE highly-anticipated Inter-District Netball tournament which was scheduled to commence this coming Saturday has now been rescheduled to April 15 due to the opening of the Vizions Super League Football Tournament in the south.
Efforts are being put in place to facilitate a combined Castries team to play in this year’s tournament. If this does materialize, there will be six teams participating in the tournament, namely Gros Islet, Canaries, Dennery, Soufriere, Vieux Fort and Castries.
In addition, the Under-13 Netball Festival is now slated to take place at the Vigie Sports Complex on Thursday, April 20 from 10:00 a.m. The purpose of the Festival is to select a national team to participate in the Under-13 Netball tournament which will be staged in Dominica during the summer vacation.
Players are reminded of their attendance at Under-23 and Senior National training which are ongoing at the Vigie Sports Complex. Training days are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 4:00 p.m.
