The Caribbean’s ultimate playground, Splash Island Water Park, held its second annual Ninja Warrior Contest on Saturday, November 19 with great success.
Several teams participated in the various events which included Individual Time Trials, Relays and the Ultimate Water Volleyball Tournament.
The event was the first on island to be covered with not one but two drones (unmanned aircrafts) in the air, making for great shots of the thrills and spills of the contest.
Here are the results of the contest:
Individual Time Trials
1st Place: Kerwin Bisette of Team Sea Adventures – 1 minute, 33 seconds (new course record)
(Winner of one night for two at Bay Gardens Beach Resort with breakfast, an Android Tablet, Domino’s Pizza voucher, KFC voucher)
2nd Place: Arnold Regis of Team Bay Gardens Resorts – 1 minute, 53 seconds
(Winner of one night for two at Bay Gardens Hotel with breakfast, Domino’s Pizza voucher, Ferrands Dairy voucher)
3rd Place: Cornel Clairmont of Team Sea Adventures – 2 minutes, 4 seconds
(Winner of one night for two with breakfast at Bay Gardens Inn, KFC voucher)
4th Place: McGyver Raymond of Team Sea Adventures – 2 minutes, 10 seconds
(Winner of two one-hour passes to Splash Island Water Park, Ferrands Dairy vouchers, Domino’s Pizza voucher)
5th Place: Brandon Wallace of Team Sandals Grande – 2 minutes, 14 seconds
(Winner of two one-hour passes to Splash Island Water Park, KFC vouchers)
Team Relays
1st Place: Sea Adventures – 2 minutes, 18 seconds (new course record)
(Winner of 5 KFC vouchers, lunch for 5 with beverage at Spices Restaurant at Bay Gardens Hotel)
2nd Place: FLOW – 2 minutes, 55 seconds
(Winner of 5 KFC Vouchers, 5 free non-motorized water sports)
3rd Place: Sandals Grande – 2 minutes, 58 seconds
(Winner of 5 Domino’s Pizza vouchers, 5 Splash Island one-hour passes)
Ultimate Water Volleyball Tournament
1st Place: FLOW
(Winner of 5 Ferrands Dairy vouchers ($75), lunch for 5 with beverage at Hi-Tide)
2nd Place: Sea Adventures
(Winner of 5 non-motorized watersport passes, 5 Splash Island Water Park one-hour passes)
3rd Place: Bay Gardens Resorts
(Winner of 5 KFC vouchers, 5 Splash Island Water Park one-hour passes)
Overall
Platinum: Sea Adventures with 35 points
(Winner of a trophy, two nights for two with breakfast at BGBR (Biggest Prize), dinner for 5 at Seagrapes)
Gold: FLOW with 17 points
Silver: Bay Gardens Resorts with 12 points
Bronze: Sandals Grande with 6 points
Prior to kicking off the contest, a few of the contestants participated in the trendy mannequin challenge. This was no easy task as it was the first attempt of this challenge on sea and shot by a drone for dramatic effects. To see this finished product, click here: Facebook YouTube Instagram
