Cycling: 75-K Race Tomorrow

CYCLISTS from the various clubs around the island will compete in the Saint Lucia Cycling Association’s annual 75-kilometre Road Race scheduled for tomorrow.

According to SLCA president, Cyril Mangal, the race will start at the Sol Gas Station in Bexon at 7:30 a.m., proceed to Ravine Poisson bridge and back towards Castries onto the Millennium Highway, turning at the roundabout near the Owen King-EU Hospital and back to Bexon’s Sol Gas Station, covering 25 kilometres. The cyclists will do this circuit three times.

Cyclists from Project Breakaway, Excellers Cycling Club, Dennery Rocketers and Mon Repos, along with a number of unattached riders, will be participating in this event.
