SATURDAY
Football: The stage is set for what has been dubbed as “Football Saturday” as the 2016 Blackheart Production team in collaboration with the St. Lucia Football Association stages the playoff finals today in Anse la Raye from 6:00 p.m.

The game will feature Central Castries and the SLFA Under – 20. Both teams topped their respective groups leading into today’s final are, in good form and gunning for the last spot in this year’s tournament proper scheduled to kick off next month.

Meanwhile, preceding the playoff finals, two former Blackheart champions, Anse la Raye and Dennery, will meet in a warm-up encounter at 4:00 p.m. at the same venue.

Football – The Action continues in the Digicel Northern Zone Club Championship in a top of table clash in Group A.

Volleyball – coming off of the first leg of the St. Lucia Basketball Federation 3×3 National Youth Qualifiers, the SLBF is pleased to announce the return of its KFC Commercial Basketball League that is scheduled to jump off this evening.

Bodybuilding – Also this evening at the National Cultural Centre the St. Lucia Amateur Bodybuilding and Body Fitness Association hosts its Annual National Bodybuilding and Body Fitness Championship.

SUNDAY:
Football – On Sunday, action continues in the Digicel Northern Zone Club Championship – Group B. Flames United will play RV Juniors at the SAB Sporting Facility. At the Marchand Grounds, FC Pioneers and Massy Stores Northern United will face each other. Both matches will kick off at 4:00 p.m. .

A double header is slated for the Gros Islet playing field, from 4:00 p.m.: Dominators FC against BoguisFC, and VSADC against LA All Stars at 6:00 p.m.

Also on Sunday at, the La Ressource Playing field the Mabouya Valley Football League commences its 2016 EC Global / Mabouya Valley Under – 20 Football Tournament. The afternoon showpiece will commence with the march past and opening ceremony from 4:00 p.m., followed by the tournament’s opener at 4:30 p.m. with Survivals Sports Club taking on Togetherness Youth Club.
