The government has announced a decline in the price of gasoline and the school holidays economists are as quiet as lambs to the slaughter.
Since Allen Chastanet opened their eyes to the advantage the former government took on consumers of gas and diesel fuel, all eyes are now wide open. It was Chastanet and the UWP march that forced them to bring down the thru put time from eight weeks to three weeks.
The former UWP had pegged it at four weeks but the SLP’s were too ashamed and embarrassed to return it where they had found it. They behaved like school boys and went one week less than they found it. Why in God’s green earth did they raise it to eight weeks in the first place? There must be a name for this kind of scheming but it’s beyond me.
