IT used to be when someone needed help, the first people they would call on were neighbours who would come with tools, food and drinks to koudmen.

Help for Saint Lucian singer, songwriter, producer and sound engineer Francis “Leebo” De Lima has ignited a similar commitment from members of his musical and commercial family and tomorrow, that support will manifest at a Musical Koudmen.

Slated for the CDF grounds at Barnard Hill in Castries, the Musical Koudmen will take the form of a karaoke and barbecue affair with all proceeds going towards Leebo.

This is an endorsed event from the “Artistes for Leebo” movement that began just over a week ago when Leebo was diagnosed with and began treatment for cancer. The movement is a collective that is volunteering their time to ensure Leebo receives the funding he needs to fight this disease.

Everything at the Musical Koudmen including food and drinks has been donated. A raffle will also be held with donated items including jewellry from Anthony’s Jewellers and Diamonds International.

Tickets for the Musical Koudmen cost $20 and can be purchased from any member of the “Artistes for Leebo” movement as well on the day of the event scheduled for a 5:30 p.m start.

The public is asked to support this worthy cause in aid of a very deserving cultural personality and patriot.
