THE partying continues here immediately following the climax of Saint Lucia’s carnival on Tuesday.

The next big event to hit local shores is the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 described as the biggest party in sports. And, to celebrate the event once again will be El Dorado Rum distributed here by Peter and Company Distribution.

CPL T20 kicks off in Saint Lucia on Thursday when the Saint Lucia Zouks come up against the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots from 6:00 p.m. at the Darren Sammy Cricket Ground. The games are expected to bring all the fun and excitement that comes with T20 with El Dorado Rum adding to that mix. El Dorado will continue to be the “official spirit” and “celebration partner” of the HERO CPL T20 tournament.

Cricket fans can expect once again to celebrate with El Dorado, the world’s number one and award winning rum, as they enjoy what has now grown into the most exciting aspect of the game.

“This year we promise an even greater engagement with our fans and you can expect that there will be new and interesting opportunities to engage with the brand,” says Germaine Serieux Brand Manager for El Dorado Rum.

Serieux said El Dorado is happy to partner with the CPL, adding that the feedback from the consumers has been great in the past and leading up to this series.

“El Dorado fans are extremely excited about our Roll with the Masters online promotion, where you can purchase any bottle of El Dorado and qualify for weekly draws to win products and tickets to the games”, Serieux explains.

The El Dorado brand manager further states that PCD is looking forward to the matches scheduled to take place here starting and expect to see a great number of supporters from Saint Lucia and across the region for the third annual CPL tournament.

The Zouks will also come up against the Barbados Tridents here on Saturday July, 23, Guyana Amazon Warriors Sunday July 24 and Trinidad & Tobago Knight Riders Tuesday July 26.

“El Dorado has been a huge supporter of the league from the onset, and has shared the vision for a uniquely Caribbean sports league that aims to captivate the world and it is with absolute pleasure that we are part of what will be the biggest year of CPL yet,” noted Serieux. “Cricket drives West Indians, gives us an identity and it is pleasing to know that HERO CPL has partnered with the world’s best rum for this tournament yet again,” he added.
