THE St. Lucia National Lottery continues to make St. Lucians richer by awarding massive payouts for winning tickets.
Monday morning was another one of those days when a lucky winner was made richer by just over $100, 000.
Virginia Augustin was that big winner, walking away with a cheque of $102,379.
Augustin won the Power Play game on June 11 with the numbers 01-05-09-18 Power Pick 05.
She said she had never won anything from that particular game before and that she had no expectations on ever winning this jackpot.
The humble Augustin said all she was hoping for was lucky 3 win where she would have received $90.
She said however, she didnāt win anything from her Lucky 3 ticket so she went to check on her Power Play ticket which was when she made the life changing discovery.
Just to be sure, she double and even triple checked her numbers but she was not hallucinating, she had indeed won.
The SNL urges St. Lucians to keep playing as this is the only way that one could be a big winner.
