THE TCL Group, manufacturer of the TCL Premium Plus and Arawak Cement brands in conjunction with their local distributors launched a series of technical seminars in its markets of St. Vincent, Grenada, and St. Lucia.
Targeting ready-mix operators, block manufacturers and contractors, the seminars are aimed at enhancing best practices within the cement user industry and form part of TCLās continuing efforts to support the companyās distributors and industrial customers. The seminars were all facilitated by Mr. Danny Jairam, a Concrete Technologist with over thirty-two yearsā experience in pre-mixed concrete, aggregate production and the construction industry.
In St. Lucia, the seminar was held at CoCo Palm Hotel last Friday in conjunction with local distributors PCL Cement (TCL Premium Plus) and Essential Hardware (Arawak Cement) and consisted of two sessions, a morning session on Ready Mix Concrete and an afternoon session on Concrete Blocks. A representative of the St. Lucia Bureau of Standards was also present at both sessions of the seminar.
The sessions were very well attended and the feedback from all participants was very positive and mirrored that of regional counterparts who also recently participated in the same seminars in their country. Deep gratitude was expressed to TCL for providing high-level training in this free course. The information shared was said to be very useful and pertinent to all those in attendance.
