SOUTH Castries Lionesses recaptured the Alicia John T20 Female trophy which they surrendered last year defeating Choiseul by six wixkets at the weekend.
Batting first Choiseul was restricted to 100 for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Julia Simon topped scored with 35 and openers Solange Aubert (13) and Alyer Alfred (11) provided useful support.
Led by a responsible, undefeated 32 from former West Indies and St Lucia all-rounder PhillipaEudovic, South Castries cantered to 103 for the loss of 4 wickets in 15 overs, Skipper Nerissa Crafton 15, AshleneEdward 13 and Maria David 10 also contributed with the bat.
