AS one of the educational activities scheduled for the academic year, the Special Educational Needs Teachers (SENT) of District One, recedntly visited the Dunnottar School and Vocational Centre to commemorate Autism Awareness Month.
The visit was an eye-opener as teachers viewed first-hand methods, strategies and best practices used for instructing students with Autism.
As part of the districtās outreach programme, a hamper with school supplies was presented to the school. Special thanks to the sponsors who made this presentation possible namely the management and staff of The Office Shop and Triple N Book Store.
