THE Royal by rex resorts recently recognized its top performing employees for the last quarter.
Speaking at the luncheon and presentation of certificates, General Manager, Richard Michelin commended the awardees for doing “a fantastic job” during a very busy and demanding period for the hotel.
Michelin said the feedback from guests was extremely positive. He said the exceptional performance of the Royal staff has resulted in increased bookings from word of mouth recommendations. Michelin believes this is just a reward for his hardworking and dedicated staff, who continue to strive to keep guests happy and ensure that every guest has a memorable vacation experience at The Royal.
Michelin also challenged his staff to “dream big” and invest time and effort in improving their knowledge and skill-set. He pledged the hotel’s support to any member of staff who wishes to pursue specialized courses related to their field of work, or hospitality studies in general. He urged them to aspire to higher positions and take steps towards upward mobility in the hotel industry, especially since most of them are young in age, in the industry, and in their work life.
Top performers of the quarter were Patricia Hippolyte and FabianCetoute – both from the Kitchen, Gideon Elibox of Maintenance, and Melina Louis of the Spa.
