ROMERO BRYAN broke into the fashion industry at the tender age of 13. His first big moment came when singer and actress Samantha Mumba wore his design to the Brit Awards (UK’s Grammys). The red carpet landed Bryan’s dress on major newspapers and magazines like Vogue and Elle to name a few, at age 15. Seventeen years later he has worked with countless of celebrities such as Brandy, Usher, Cameron Diaz and Kelly Rowland. Born in London, Bryan always had aspirations of becoming a world renowned fashion designer. After graduating from London Collage of Fashion in late 2005, Romero moved to New York. His designs have since been worn by some of the most famous style icons including Beyonce.

He has shown his collections all over Europe, and has been seen at The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Germany, New York Fashion Week, and Africa New Day. He is known for his signature pieces in hand finished silk chiffon dresses and tops that embrace and flatter the female form with masterful drapery.

Romero has been named as one of Lloyds TBS &Thomson Reuters ‘Power list 2013’ as one of Britain’s Most Influential Black People signed off by British Prime Minister, David Cameron. He was the featured guest designer at Caribbean Collections/ St. Lucia Fashion Week 2012. Bryan is now working on growing his UK brand, having recently shared his success with EBONY.com.

Myriam Belasse, designer and owner of Belasse Collection, has devoted her entire career to the fashion industry. She is sought after by some of the top brands in the World. She was born at Roseau, Anse La Raye and began her career began where most fashion pioneers originate; New York City.

She attended The Fashion Institute of Technology. Myriam gained valuable experience by working for major private fashion houses, such as Bebe, Cache, and Calvin Klein. She soon started a Menswear line called BelasseMenwear, under Belasse Group Inc. She launched her International Menswear line in the Fall of 2002. Her collection was featured in The Fashion Manuscript as well as other lifestyle magazines.

She recently consulted on the technical design team of Jet Blue producing their uniforms which launched in 2014. She assists and designs products for Walmart and Home Depot.

Ms. Belasse brings to the table decades of experience as a designer, patternmaker and industry consultant. She has been designing and sewing beautiful creations since her teenage years. She is an artist, a businesswoman, an educator, a philanthropist and a world traveler.

Her design is for the sophisticated and trendy woman. The collection’s fabrics range from 100% silks and silk/cotton blends to lace, chiffon, cotton, and knits. The sophisticated and flirty styles cover every occasion. Gowns and evening wear dresses for that special occasion; suits and sets take you from the office to dinner and back; and maxi dresses and pants are perfect weekend wear. The common thread in Belasse clothing is a classy, feminine design sewn in colors that are vibrant and strong, yet still calming.
