Bayfest Street Festival Launches November 28

BAYFEST is a new addition to the St. Lucian calendar bringing together artisans, entrepreneurs, vendors and performers to showcase their talent to thousands of consumers in the heart of Rodney Bay. The events gets underway on November 28.

This once a month festival isn’t the same old festival – this is a creative experience! Food, fashion, dance, exhibitions, music, family fun, live entertainment and much more. Conveniently located between Baywalk Shopping Mall and JQ Rodney Bay Mall – attendees will discover local cuisine, quality artistes and the spirit of St. Lucia.

Produced by the multi-faceted media production house Nexus Networks Inc. in collaboration with Baywalk and JQ Rodney Bay Mall, BAYFEST signals a new era of the St Lucia’s creative industries.

This innovative street festival will feature interactive exhibits in fashion, culinary, mixology, dance, music and street art with exciting showcases during each event. Entrepreneurs, street vendors, artisans and community organizations will have the opportunity to sell and promote their goods, services and initiatives with specially designed BAYFEST vendor booths and ‘boot-camps’ conducted by leading experts.

BAYFEST kicks off its inaugural instalment of the street festival series with an extraordinary fashion exhibition featuring the annual Fashion Fusion runway show right in the heart of Rodney Bay. Caribbean Fashion Impresario Richard Young has signed on as Creative Director for this scintillating production and will also be on island for the Fashion Fusion castings, Stylist Boot-Camps and Model training to prepare St Lucia’s aspiring talent for their big debut.
