CIBC First Caribbean International Bank has gone on the offensive in a bid to entice customers from other banks to jump ship and join them with the official launch of the Credit Card Switch Campaign last week.

Loans Officer/Sales Specialist, Doshille Osman said once customers switch their credit cards, there are a number of benefits to be enjoyed, for example: $0 joining fee and the chance to earn 5000 reward points which is equivalent to US $50 that can be used to either pay down on your card, donate to charity or used as a gift card to purchase items.

Another benefit is that customers who switch in August get a six month interest free period.

Osman said; ā€œThis idea came from ourselves at First Caribbean and our marketing team and we were able to put it together.ā€ He added: ā€œItā€™s aimed at all persons in other banks who have credit cards and probably are not happy and want a change or probably just need the benefits that we have to offer.ā€

When asked what sets them apart from the other banks that would cause customers to leave and come to them, Osman said; ā€œWe have a dedicated team who are there 24/7 to answer all your questions and all your calls. We give personal touches to everyone who comes in, we take care of our customers, we treat them with respect, we love them and give them whatever it is that they needā€¦conditions appliedā€

The promotion in actuality began two weeks ago but the official launch was held on Friday island wide and will continue until September 30.
