Political Leader of the United Workers Party, Mr. Allen Chastanet, will deliver his New Year’s address tonight.
This will be the Political Leader’s first address since retaining leadership of the main opposition, UWP at the party’s last national convention in November 2014.
The Political Leader will speak on a number of issues affecting the country, including the on going dispute in fuel prices. Chastanet will also highlight a number of developing policies of the UWP as the party plans to rescue Saint Lucia from an incompetent Government.
The address comes ahead of a planned UWP protest march h in the heart of Castries tomorrow, which is intended to signal the frustration and dissatisfaction of the performance of the St. Lucia Labour Party Administration by the People of Saint Lucia, a UWP statement said.
Chastanetās address will be aired on CHOICE TV at 7:30 p.m. and HTS at 8:00 p.m. tonight.
