of the 2008 St.Lucia Football Association District Tournament,
but will have to wait for the final results between
yesteryears’ arch rivals La Clery and home team Marchand
later this afternoon to determine their final position in
that zone. Marchand at home played an impressive 1-1 draw

The
Vempers Sports Athletic Dramatic Club (VSADC) Youth Academy
and Executive members were the recipients of a stirring lecture
by Fortuna Belrose Director of Youth & Sports, on
Saturday 30th August 2008 at the Vide Boutielle Cultural Club
Headquarters at La Clery. Club President Greg Mathurin said,
“This was the first in a series of monthly lectures,

anything in life, many will agree that sports exist to provide
interested children a positive and enjoyable recreational
experience. With my experience, a lot has shown me
that children who participate in sports have higher self-confidence,
are healthier, perform better in school and are less likely
to get involved in drugs than children who do not participate
in sports.
