Football
is an internationally loved sport, and the country
of Saint Lucia is no exception to this generalization
as the country works to bring their athletes
world-wide recognition. In fact, today the Saint
Lucia Football Association (SLFA) and the Sacred
Cows Foundation announced a partnership with
Bay Gardens Resorts, naming the three-resort
group, located in the famed Rodney Bay area,
as the official host for the 2010-2011 football
season as part of its plan to elevate the country’s
standing in the sport by 2014. Bay Gardens Resorts
continues to be a leader within the Saint Lucia
community; hosting sporting groups and conferences
including the ICC Cricket 20/20 World Cup.
