With the recent issues of athletes and spectator medical safety being highlighted in the media, the St. Lucia Olympic Committee wishes to remind National Federations and sporting events organizers that there are available for usage four sports medicines emergency bags.
These bags were donated by the Canadian Government and are stocked with medical equipment to assist any trained personnel to deal with any medical emergencies that may arise at sporting events.

Information on these bags and their availability may be obtained in Castries through the SLOC office (Olympic House at Barnard Hill) and one is stationed in Vieux - Fort at St Jude’s Hospital under the care of the Hospital Medical Director.
Persons who wish to utilize the bags need only to contact the above mentioned institutions.
The bags will only be loaned out to suitably trained medical personnel for usage so such persons need be identified before contacting the SLOC or St. Jude’s Hospital.
