More Drugs Destroyed by Police

On Wednesday the 10th of February, 2010, the members of the Drug Squad, Vieux-Fort, conducted an eradication exercise on a plantation at Maganier, Vieux-Fort and another at Grace also in the quarter of Vieux-Fort, where the officers destroyed a total of one thousand, seven hundred and forty-three (1743) grown marijuana plants including five hundred (500) seedlings.
No one was arrested during the exercise.

Shooting at Marchand:

On Tuesday the 9th of February, 2010, about 8:25pm, Kimbert Dennis AKA Erick, age 28 of Maynard Hill, Castries was shot in the groin area by a masked man, while standing near his home at Maynard hill, Castries.
Dennis is presently admitted at the Victoria Hospital. No one has been arrested in connection with this incident, however investigation continues.
