HANDBOOK for NCPD published

The National Council of and for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD) is pleased to announce the publication of a second handbook produced with the objectives of increasing public awareness of the NCPD, and the services it provides, along with raising funds through corporate advertizing for NCPDs many activities.
The handbook is titled “Disability Awareness Guide – Disabilities & You.”
NCPD in collaboration with the Civic Relations Group of USA, Canada and the Caribbean (C.R.G.) have undertaken this successful venture with the aim of creating awareness regarding disability related issues in St. Lucia. The Civic Relations Group has also been involved in producing literature promoting disability awareness in other nations of our Caribbean region.

Mr. Clive Holder, Regional Sales & Marketing Manager of C.R.G. from Barbados, and his team, are responsible for the production of this special second edition and have left 1062 copies with NCPD to be distributed, free of charge, island wide.
The endeavor netted approximately $19,000.00 which will go toward the many needs and worthwhile activities produced by the council.
This generous group, Civic Relations Group of USA, Canada and the Caribbean, in collaboration with NCPD, continues to work diligently to create awareness nationally and in the region.
