Prime Minister travels to Jamaica

Prme Minister, Dr. Kenny D. Anthony, left the state yesterday to travel to Jamaica to fulfill two major engagements. The Prime Miister, who will be the guest of the University of the West Indies, will deliver the keynote address at a conference at the University of the West Indies, Mona, to mark fifty years of Jamaica’s independence. Later, the Prime Minister will be Guest Speaker at a dinner in honour of the former Prime Minister of Jamaica, Hon Percival J. Patterson.
Prime Minister Anthony will also be meeting the newly elected Prime Minister of Jamaica, Hon. Portia Simpson-Miller to discuss several matters of mutual interest.
Prime Minister Anthony returns to the state over the weekend.
