What is
the Government thinking, to permit the church
of Scientology to campaign in St. Lucia?
On
Monday 8th March 11, 2010 the Prime Minister,
Honourable Stephenson King, and Mr. Guy Mayers,
gave remarkable speeches, welcoming the ‘Freewinds’
cruise ship to the island of St. Lucia. This
was not just an ordinary welcome, but to thank
the organizers of the ‘Freewinds’
for seeking to assist St. Lucia in the journey
of crime prevention and alleviation.
I sat in this one day work shop on the ship,
and listened to the presenters talk about a
book: ‘the way to Happiness’, and
how this book written by L. Ron Hubbard, has
all the principles to solving crime. Many persons
questioned whether there was any hidden agenda
to this ‘way of happiness campaign’
but the facilitators insisted that there wasn’t
anything attached, and that they only want to
help St. Lucia, along with the other Caribbean
islands, combat crime.
As the workshop continued, and I went through
the corridor for lunch, I saw many books by
the author L. Ron Hubbard on Scientology. It
was only then that I realized that this was
a religious campaign, and had only one hidden
agenda ‘TO INFILTRATE THE MINDS OF ST.
LUCIANS, ON THE RELIGIOUS THEORIES OF SCIENTOLOGY’,
and to accept that scientology has the solution
to the crime problem.
St. Lucia is considered to be a Christian nation,
and no St. Lucian should sit there and allow
the Government of St. Lucia to permit the church
of Scientology to enter St. Lucia; to distribute
over one hundred thousand books of ‘the
way to happiness’ [over 100,000 books].

This event will
be launched and the books will be distributed
on the Derek Walcott square, Castries on 16th
March, 2010. This is surely infringing on
the rights of St. Lucians.
As a Christian nation, we know that the Creator
has given one manual to live by, and this
is the HOLY BIBLE, not in any book written
by Scientologist, L. Ron Hubbard. In fact
most of the principles spoken of in the book
‘The Way To Happiness’ has been
written over thousand of years ago in the
HOLY BIBLE, E.G.- THOU SHALL NOT KILL, DO
NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS, TREAT OTHERS AS YOU
WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED. These principles
written in the book’ the way to happiness’,
are ‘sheep’ in wolves clothing,
whose ultimate aim is to lead ‘sheep’
to the slaughter. I urge Christians to arise
and stand for the truth, because the Prime
Minister has given the church of Scientologist
the okay to distribute over 100,000 thousand
books to St. Lucians, and also given the okay
to feature our beautiful pitons on the front
page of ‘the way to happiness’
book.
It is a shame that the Prime Minster either
knowingly or unknowingly, supports such a
hidden religious agenda. Doesn’t he
know that we stand on the Holy Bible? Churches,
St. Lucians, arise!! We do not want to blight
our sweet St. Lucia.
