The following statement has been issued by the Saint Lucia Labour Party:
BUSINESS AS USUAL

The Saint Lucia Labour Party is deeply disturbed that despite the exposures on the NDC by the Star Newspaper, and indeed its own call for the removal of Nicholas John as chairman of NDC, the Stephenson King Government has elected to do nothing about the situation. The government is behaving in the manner it knows best: business as usual, ignore the Opposition. When a government has such a high threshold for illegality and wrong doing, it is sending a message to the society that it does not care and its cronies are free to do what they choose. The situation at NDC must be resolved quickly because it has caused a crisis of integrity and confidence in the operations of the Corporation.
