Meet SLASPA’s
Management Team

One
month ago, we introduced you to our General
Manager Mr. Sean Matthew, a consummate professional
with an impressive academic record who is credited
with achieving major accomplishments in less
than three years on the job at SLASPA. Humbled
by nature, Mr. Matthew would be the first to
say that, the credit should really go to his
hard working Management Team and their staff.
The team that he refers to comprise of twelve
executives who heads the various departments
at SLASPA.
As our name implies, two of our critical departments
are the Airports and Seaport departments or
divisions as is frequently referred to at SLASPA.
Mr. Peter Jean, an aviation industry veteran
with over 35 years experience heads the Airports
Division. Mr. Adrian Hilaire, a former Marine
Pilot, with over twenty years experience in
the maritime industry now heads the Seaport
Division. The other departments namely Corporate
Services, Finance, Engineering, Port Police,
Legal, Information Systems, Marketing, Human
Resources and Administration all form support
services as they provide invaluable services
to the Airports and Seaports.
Heading our Corporate Division is Senior Director,
Mr. Ben Emmanuel, former Permanent Secretary
for the Ministry of Communications, Works, Transport
and Public Utilities. In his role as Senior
Director he is responsible for the Corporate
Services, Legal, Information Systems and Human
Resource and Administration Departments. Mr.
Emmanuel leads a team of dedicated professionals
namely, Grace Michel, Director - Information
Systems, Nadia Alcide, Manager- Employee Compensation,
Beverly Dulcie, Manager - Employee Development
and Danine Jones, Legal Officer/Corporate Secretary.
These talented ladies fulfill some of SLASPA’s
major roles which include designing, implementing
and maintaining SLASPA’s computer information
systems taking care of the needs of its over
400 employees and ensuring that SLASPA operates
within the Legal framework under its parent
Act, regulations and all other applicable statutory
and common law requirements. The management
team within the Corporate Services and Administration
Division is driven by a passion for high quality
customer service and responsiveness to stakeholders’
needs. |
