Prio’s Country Palace Launches John Hogan Farewell Concert

Prio’s Country Palace in Collaboration with Capricorn Productions International has initiated the official Press Launch which took place at the Country Palace . Proprietor of Prio’s Country Palace Denis Primus and Event Management and Marketing consultants Blueprint Hospitality have jointly ventured in this undertaking and have integrated the eight week long island wide Country and Western Competition into a Grand Finale that would see 6 Finalists do battle for Monetary Prices on the evening of the Vintage John Hogan Farewell Concert slated for Saturday 10th April at Samaans Park. The competition has been structured to engage karaoke singers and enthusiasts from twenty Bars throughout the country primarily geared towards creating hype and momentum leading up to this mega star studded event.
The opening night would take place at Under the Breadfruit Tree Bar in Gros Islet on Tuesday 23rd February in the first week of community preliminary rounds which would see competitions at the selected bars taking place concurrently throughout the week where two competitors would be selected. The Community preliminary round would continue over the next three weeks with two competitors qualifying each week for the community final in the fifth week of the event.Three finalists from the two semi final rounds would then proceed to the Grand Finals.

 
 

Marketing Executive of Premium Sponsors Lime Latoya Felix expressed their continued commitment to this initiative which has the propensity to expose the talent and bring out the best in potential Country and Western Singers throughout the country, whilst giving Country and Western lovers an opportunity to enjoy the best of John Hogan in his final dance.
St. Lucia Distiller’s continued support for the promotion of this genre of music was substantiated with gold sponsorship status and Marketing and Communications Manager Jennifer Gaston expressed their commitment to also provide technical and administrative support throughout the event. Other gold Sponsors included SMJ Beverages Duboulay Bottling Company Ltd. and Windward and Leeward Brewery.
Silver sponsors included HTS, Radio Caribbean, Hot Fm and B & B Quick printers. Bronze sponsors included Glencastle Resort and Bay Gardens Resorts.
An Island wide road show was held on Sunday 21st February with the convoy consisting of a truckload of beautiful ladies dressed with cowboy hats and Jilieus and a Music Truck and DJ promoting the event throughout the various participating communities. Tickets to the Grand Final and John Hogan Farewell Concert would be available at all participating Bars throughout the preliminary rounds. The cast would also include performances by local Country and Western Star Linus Modeste AKA LM Stone, Former Digicel Rising Star Shervon Sealey, Frankie Duboulay and Female Country & Western Singing sensation from the South Deila Bynoe.
