G-G donates to NCF

On August 18th the National Community Foundation (NCF) received a significant contribution totaling $10,000.00 from the Governor General, Dame Pearlette Louisy and the Le Pavillon Royal Interpretation Centre Fundraising Committee. This donation is to assist the NCF’s programmes targeting disadvantaged children. The Governor General serves as Patron for the NCF.
At the presentation, the NCF’s Executive Director, Ms Juliana Alfred, thanked the Governor General and her team for their participation in this humanitarian effort and assured them that their contribution would ensure that more children would have access to education.
The cheque was presented by the Governor General, Dame Pearlette Louisy to the NCF management. The event was attended by the Chairperson of the NCF, Ms Jacintha Lee, Mr. Steve Etienne and Mrs. Natalie Fanis of the NCF Public Relations team and members of the museum fundraising committee.
The NCF is a philanthropic, non-profit organization that functions primarily as a grant making institution. It has been able to sustain its support to vulnerable persons through partnerships with the private and public sector.
