Bay Gardens Gives to NCF

On December 18th the National Community Foundation received a grant contribution totalling $10,000.00 from the Bay Gardens Inn, Bay Gardens Hotel and Bay Beach Resorts towards interventions targeting disadvantaged children and older person. This contribution marked the third to the NCF collected through the “Dollar a Night” Initiative, the Bay Gardens chain have previously donated approximately $30,000.00 to the NCF. The “Dollar a Night” Initiative was launched in 2006 at the Bay Gardens Hotel and provides guest an opportunity to contribute US $1.00 per night towards a worthy cause for every night of their stay. At the presentation, the NCF’s Executive Director, Ms Juliana Alfred thanked the Bay Gardens’ Management for participating in this humanitarian effort and expressed gratitude for this donation which will be used to support vulnerable groups.
