year old, Tahnee Hippolyte, of Edmonton, London
won the First ever Miss St Lucia/UK Pageant
from a bevy of 8 other contestants on Friday
4th June at the Radisson BLU Hotel in London.
The first runner up was Curmiah St Catherine,
and second runner up was Tamara Plummer.
Tahnee is the daughter of Keith and Emma Richards
Hippolyte of Summersdale, Castries, St Lucia
now residing in the United Kingdom. She will
be making appearances at the home coming events
to be staged in Saint Lucia next month.
At the moment she is studying Child Psychology
and gaining experience working with children
as she hopes to continue her education in that
field.
The contest, she said has done a lot in boosting
her courage to pursue her dreams of becoming
an actress and helping the underprivileged children
of the world.
She plans to keep her sponsors, Southern Solution
Shipping, Mr Wilson St Rose, proud of her and
thank them for being there for her during the
contest.
The organiser of the show, Grace Felix Duplessis
was very pleased that the show got off the ground
as this was her first and most challenging experience.
