Soca Princess
gives back

Combie also known as Soca Princess, in the Soca
arena is giving back to her community by contributing
on an annual basis to her old school, the Entrepot
Secondary School.
Ms. Combie left St. Lucia eleven (11) years
ago whilst attending the Entrepot Secondary
School to take up residency in the United Kingdom.
She never forgot the school which helped shape
her and prepare her for life in the UK and always
kept in touch with the vice principal and staff.
She always vowed that one day she would contribute
to the lives of some of the students at this
same school.
For the past three years she has sponsored five
children each year with hampers which include
school supplies, toiletries and in general,
items that would assist them.
On Wednesday July 7th, 2010 she presented the
five students chosen for this year by the principal
and staff spearheaded by Vice Principal, Mrs
Juliana Cadet, hampers and a monetary sum totaling
EC$2000.00.
