The “F” word

This certainly did catch your attention, I am sure of it! And yes, I know it is ‘cliché’ to begin or introduce my column with “I open my column’ or words to that effct but this is definitely how I want to begin.
I open my column bidding you readers and well wishers a great fascination and appreciation for that F word “Fashion” through my articles (what were you thinking??). I’ve picked that ever so popular topic with the ladies and teens which has been one of my interests from adolescene. While I am no fashion expert, I seek to learn more through research for the articles I do and simultaneously inviting a wider audience to tag along with me in the journey. My drooling in fashion magazines has generated something positive after all (wink), as I continue to be interested in that “F” word (giggle).

I realize as with many other things in everyday living, numerous other aspects linger behind “Fashion”. There is certainly more depth to those clothes or bags that we take on a lay away plan, way more to the latest fashion seen in Vogue and on artistes and dancers in music videos. I am setting a goal of turning these aspects topsy turvy to extract details for these weekly articles which in turn will enhance your knowledge of the “F” word. From the genesis of fashion consciousness to designers, haute couture, local fashion, hairstyling to name a few. Fashion spills over from not only what we wear, but also interior designing, to what we drive, even eat and it goes on. I bid you again, “Enlightenment”. Join me in my quest!
