Happy,
happy new year to one and all!! Yes we have
made it to 2012 and this is just enough to give
God all the thanks and praise for all that he
has done towards us in 2011. Many did not live
to see this year and we all had many challenges
in 2011 but the goodness of God has kept us
safely through those trying times. Greetings
once more to my faithful readers throughout
St. Lucia, the Caribbean isles, international
circles and those of you connecting via the
World Wide Web. We would begin another journey
in 2012 as we seek to connect with God on a
more personal level and really know Him for
ourselves. When we spend much needed time in
the presence of God then He would reveal Himself
more to us as we spend more time in His word.
Problems would come and go and challenges of
life would seem to get us down but only through
the presence of God we can get real peace and
joy. God is omnipresent and knows it all and
there is nothing we can hide from God. He has
a way of exposing things when the time comes.
One of the things we fail to do is to look up
and realize that the most powerful God is looking
at us!
The fear of the Lord needs to get back in our
churches, homes, work places, in our nation
and in our personal life’s. We tend to
do things as though God does not exist and we
do not have to give an account for our actions.
Judgment day is coming soon and we all have
to give an account to every idle word we have
spoken. If many of us had the fear God a lot
of things would not be happening in our lives
and in our nation. God is the problem solver
and many times God has to bring certain situations
and circumstances our way to really get our
attention. This way we would really learn to
depend upon Him for every situation that comes
our way. We all have challenges and the way
we handle them would determine the out come.
When we learn to put everything in the hands
of God and allow Him to take full control of
every situation,only then we would see great
results. When you think that you have problems
others have it even greater than you. That’s
why we have to learn to encourage each other
and to give a listening ear, not to gossip about
that person’s situation but to pray and
encourage him or her in what ever way possible.
God would make a way for you in 2012 and beyond! |
