Faith is
the evidence of things not seen. Hebrew 11:1
For
iF ye forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly
Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive
not men their trespasses, neither will your
Father forgive your trespasses. St. Matthew
chapter 6 and verses 14-15 states forgiveness
towards others and receiving it in return. Greetings
to all St Lucians, regional and international
readers to another of these columns and we trust
that you had a productive and very rewarding
week and in all things gave God thanks and praise
for his mercies. It’s all about having
faith and confidence in God and allowing him
to take full control of your situation today.
God is the only one who can work it out for
you and make you the person, who would bring
honor and glory to his name.
We all have been through many situations in
life where persons have hurt us and we have
also hurt and done things to others. It’s
time to let it go and ask for forgiveness and
give forgiveness, and not allow it to be a cancer
to us: but cleanse ourselves from un-forgiveness.
Our people in our nation need to forgive one
another and stop holding each other in our hearts
and allow God to deliver and cleanse us from
bitterness, resentment and un-forgiveness. God
is the only one who can give us a heart of love
and for us to really and truly forgive and move
on with peace of mind and a clear conscience.
