Is there nothing in the House?
(Continued from Weekend Voice OF August 7th)

She went and told the man of God, and he said, ‘Go, sell the oil and repay your loan, and you and your sons may live on the rest.” M’lachiym Beit (2Kings) 4:1-7.
When the widow sought help from the man of Elohim, his response surpassed all rational thought. But even though ’Elisha’s instructions made no apparent sense, the widow responded with faith and obedience—and in the end, she received an over-abundance of supply. How willing are we to trust that God can perform outside and above natural reason and logic? In times of great need, will we trust that Yahweh Elohim has the power to save—that He will provide for our lack to the very last drop? The widow had only one limitation in receiving all that God desired to supply. As ’Elisha instructed, the widow gathered together as many containers as she could find—empty containers, and not just a few!—and she poured out into them. And the oil flowed, and flowed, and flowed, and flowed. Finally, when all the containers were full, “the oil stopped.”

Did the widow have just enough containers to hold all that The Most High desired to supply, or did He stop pouring out His blessing because she had no more room to collect it?
What kind of containers do we have in our lives today? With what are they filled? Has Elohim started pouring out blessings upon you, only to find that your many containers were already filled with other things—and “then the oil stopped”? Father Yahweh wants us to empty ourselves completely, so that He can fill us up with as much as we can hold. He will not only give us enough, but more than enough—and we will “live on the rest.” Heavenly Father Yahweh, I’m cleaning my house today—Your servant has nothing in the house but a pot of oil. I am getting rid of all the junk, clutter, and garbage that is taking up space, and I’m making room for You to fill me up—permanently! Show me how to keep my heart and mind clear of those things that are not of You, that I will always have empty containers to receive Your abundance. Pour out Your oil today, Father! Thank You, my Master, for filling me up to overflowing.
